Some States Are Getting Worse as They Return to Normal
While many states are reopening their economies and societies, several states are having difficulty managing the spike in COVID-19 cases.
The Intelligencer reports that these states are among those having the hardest time: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas and Utah.
While the media's attention has shifted to issues of social unrest and the protesting that is taking place across the country, that does not take away from the dangers posed by reopening too quickly or relaxing mask-wearing and social distancing rules.
Texas has had a particularly difficult time after reopening back in April. With news that travel is seeing signs or resuming, it's so important that communities make health and wellness, a priority and encourage people to be safe while returning to their way of life.
